About

iFS isn’t about fancy meals or ingredients. It isn’t about kitchen expertise or culinary knowledge. It’s about loving food and making it a wholesome part of your life every day. It’s about using all natural ingredients and embracing tasty, delicious meals that are healthy and don’t cost too much.
There was a time when I didn’t find any inspiration in food. I cared a lot about my health and was serious about fitness, but when it came to food, I was more interested in measurements of proteins and carbs rather than taste and freshness. Living in New York for a year changed me. Being exposed to great restaurants and new ethnic flavors opened my eyes to the possibilities of food. I also began to take serious interest in the origin of ingredients and became a regular shopper at farmer’s markets around the city.
With new knowledge came a new passion. My food was no longer dominated by chicken breasts and canned tuna. I began to use seasonal ingredients, a diversity of meats, and all sorts of spices and seasonings. As much as I loved cooking different cuisines, I also embraced the need to shop and use ingredients responsibly. Today, I try my best to source ingredients locally, and I make it a priority to carefully balance taste and health in all of my meals. These are the core beliefs behind my mission for iFS.
